WOW!! july was the last time i updated...that was ages ago. Well i got through finals for summer classes and now i'm back in school. WHOOPI!! i just got through the 1st week of classes and i'm already bogged down already. i didn't do much this weekend...sent out some research applications, read a little bit and then last night a bunch of us went to the kelly clarkson concert at the Greek Theater. It was fun. everybody was pretty hyped and Kelly was so sweet. She seemed very down to earth. However, the concert was short because her voice was hurting, but she tried to hold on as long as possible. OH! the band that opened for her was called the Grahman Colton Band that they were really good and funny. Afterwards we went to get gelato, but i think it is overrated. it was ok but ben & jerry's still rocks.

well...i really want to do research right now and i hope that i get a position in one of the labs. i want it so badly!!

I forgot to add that afterwards, shauna and her friends went to a frat party and got drunk. OMG! she apparently made out with a guy on the street, but he is a soccer player. and elaheh got drunk after 2 beers and she couldn't feel her face or joints LOL!!

Things that make me happy:

•          Laughing so hard that my face starts to hurt.

•          Getting mail

•          Taking a drive on a pretty road.

•          Hearing my favorite song on the radio.

•          Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.

•          Hot towels fresh out of the dryer.

•          Giggling.

•          A good conversation

•          The beach

•          Finding a $20 bill in my coat pocket.

•          Running through sprinklers.

•          Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.

•          Having someone tell me that I’m beautiful.

•          Laughing at an inside joke.

•          Friends.

•          Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about me.

•          Waking up and realizing I still have a few hours left to sleep.

•          Making new friends or spending time with old ones.

•          Having someone play with my hair.

•          Sweet dreams.

•          Swinging on swings.

•          Making eye contact with a cute stranger.

•          Making chocolate chip cookies.

•          Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change.

•          Watching the expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from me.

•          Watching the sunrise.

•          Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day.

•          Knowing that somebody misses me.

•          Getting a hug from someone I care about.

•          Knowing I've done the right thing, no matter what other people think.

WOW! its been a long time since i have updated. It seems even longer since i went through with all that drama with Jackie. I'm just glad that she moved out when she did. She wasn't helping out with all the household chores or anything. I just have to forget about it and throw it away.

So Shauna moved in this month and Insha Allah everything works out.

Last week, all four of us went running around campus. I wasn't really sore afterwards but then my right foot started to hurt whenever i put my weight on it. It hurt really bad.  So on tuesday i went to the Tang Center to see what was wrong. The doctor, who i saw for a total of 5 minutes, said that i had pulled the perineal tendon on the side of my foot. He gave me crutches to use for the next 2 weeks. So, now i'm in pain from the crutches rather than from my injury. Ironic huh?
